Our Privacy Policy of 02 January 2019 governs the privacy terms of our MIDI mouth controller available for download from the App Store.

Beat bars is a trading name of NILSON Ltd., registered in Poland.
 This policy sets out how we use and share the information you provide us or allow us to obtain from third parties. This policy describes your relationship with NILSON Ltd. (Beat bars). This document in no way represents any agreement between you and NILSON other than as described here.

Your Privacy

Our Application follows all legal requirements to protect your privacy. Our Privacy Policy is a legal statement explaining how we may collect information from you, how we may share your information, and how you can limit our sharing of your information. You will see terms in our Privacy Policy which are capitalized. These terms have been described in the Definitions section below.

Definitions

• Personal Data: Personal Data is data relating to a natural person who can be identified by means of such data (or from data and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).
• Data Controller: Data Controller means a natural or legal person who (either alone or jointly or in common with other persons) determines the purposes for which and the manner in which any personal data is, or is to be, processed. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, we are the Data Controller of your data.
• Data Processors (or Service Providers): Data Processor (or Service Provider) means any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Data Controller. We may use the services of various Service Providers in order to process your data more effectively.
• Data Subject: A Data Subject is any living individual who is the subject of Personal Data.
• User: The User is the individual using the Application. The User corresponds to the Data Subject, who is the subject of the Personal Data.

Information Collection and Use

Types of Processed Data

• Face Data
  Face Data means information related to human faces (e.g., face mesh data, facial map data, face modeling data, facial coordinates or facial landmark data) which is obtained from a User’s device and/or through the use of the Application (e.g., through ARKit, the Camera API), or which is provided by the User in or by means of the Application.

Use of Data

• We do not use Face Data in a manner that will violate the legal rights of users (or any third parties) or provide an unlawful, unfair, misleading, fraudulent, improper, exploitative, or objectionable user experience.
• We do not use Face Data for authentication, advertising, or marketing purposes, or to otherwise target an end-user in a similar manner.
• We do not use Face Data to build user profiles, or otherwise attempt, facilitate, or encourage third parties to identify anonymous users or reconstruct user profiles based on Face Data.
• We agree not to transfer, share, sell, or otherwise provide Face Data to advertising platforms, analytics providers, data brokers, information resellers or other such parties.
• Face Data will not be shared or transferred from the user’s device.
• We record (but not permanently) the image of your face, facial coordinates, and facial landmarks only to convert them into MIDI messages.
• We do not store Face Data. The only data we send are already converted MIDI messages via a local WiFi network, Bluetooth, or a USB cable to a Mac or PC to which the Application is connected.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

We will let you know by writing a clearly visible post on our Website, prior to the change becoming effective and we will update the "effective date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
